Regenerating Channel View to create a modern, connected place to live.

Delivered in partnership with Cardiff Council, Channel View is transforming an existing estate in Grangetown to create modern, low-carbon homes designed to support independent living.

Wates Residential is currently undertaking Phase 1 of the scheme, delivering 126 accessible and adaptable apartments for older people across two new buildings. This replaces the existing tower block with high-quality homes that prioritise comfort, safety and wellbeing. Block B will provide 24 independent living apartments, while Block A will deliver 102 community living homes alongside shared spaces including a café and rooftop terrace.

As part of the wider regeneration, the development will provide up to 400 new mixed-tenure homes, alongside improved public spaces, better walking and cycling connections, and enhanced green infrastructure to support a more open and connected neighbourhood.
