Our Residential business, in partnership with the London Borough of Harrow, has secured planning permission for Poets Corner (subject to s106 negotiations), a major regeneration of the former Harrow Civic Centre site.
This milestone unlocks more than 1,000 new homes and sets the stage for a vibrant, inclusive neighbourhood with green spaces, active streets and homes people are proud to live in.
At the heart of the masterplan, designed by Sheppard Robson, is Poets Garden – a large public space set back from Station Road. The layout blends homes, shops and community spaces with new walking routes and a pedestrian link to Harrow & Wealdstone Station via a community square.
What’s coming:
Phase one will deliver over 500 homes, including Build to Rent and affordable housing, plus retail and flexible community space
Phases two and three will add more homes and at least 1,300m² of commercial and community space
We’re also exploring the potential for an NHS healthcare facility
The scheme will retain over 100 existing trees and introduce new planting and brown roofs to support biodiversity
This follows the approval of Byron Quarter, another development in our partnership, earlier this year. Together, these schemes are reshaping Harrow.
