We’re thrilled to be working in partnership with Southwark Council to help deliver new affordable homes across the borough.

Our partnership includes four sites across Southwark: Wickway on the Gloucester Grove Estate, Bells Gardens Estate and Lindley Estate in Peckham, and Wyndham Road in Camberwell, creating a significant opportunity to support the council’s long-term housing ambitions and provide more high-quality affordable homes for local people.

Building on previous engagement undertaken by Southwark Council, in summer 2026 we completed our first round of consultations across all four sites, helping ensure residents continue to play an important role in shaping proposals as plans evolve.

By bringing together Southwark Council’s vision for the borough and Wates Residential’s experience in housing delivery and regeneration, we have a shared opportunity to create homes that meet local need while making a lasting contribution to communities across Southwark.
