Specialist housing scheme set to transform former Ely Housing Office site

Planning permission has been granted for the former Ely Housing Office site on Grand Avenue, Cardiff, with the scheme being brought forward in partnership with Cardiff Council.
Designed to support older residents and people with restricted mobility, the scheme will provide high-quality homes that enable people to live independently while staying connected to their local community.
Located in an established neighbourhood close to local amenities and public transport links, the site offers future residents easy access to the services, facilities and support networks they rely on every day.
Features include fully accessible homes, accommodation for residents who may require overnight care and a secure communal courtyard, creating opportunities for residents to connect with neighbours and enjoy shared outdoor space.
The plans have been carefully shaped to complement the surrounding area. Existing landscape features will be retained where possible, alongside new communal green spaces that create a safe and welcoming environment for residents to spend time outdoors and socialise.
