Eastern High, Aspen Grove

Delivering an end to end solution to create a sustainable, mixed community.

Delivered through our Cardiff Living partnership with Cardiff Council, Eastern High is an award-winning development in Rumney, creating a sustainable and inclusive new neighbourhood.

The scheme delivered 214 low-carbon homes across a mix of tenures, including 65 council homes, 44 of which are community living apartments for older people, alongside 21 family houses and a further 149 homes for private sale. All homes are now sold.

All homes incorporate renewable technologies and smart energy systems to reduce energy use and running costs, alongside a strong focus on green infrastructure and biodiversity.

Recognised for its approach to sustainability, the development received Welsh Government Innovative Housing Programme funding and won a CIH Wales award.
