Planning approval secured for Willowbrook South
Planning permission has been granted for Willowbrook South, the latest phase of Cardiff Living, our partnership with Cardiff Council.
Located on land south of Willowbrook Drive in Trowbridge, the development will deliver 35 new homes, providing a mix of affordable homes and homes for sale and continuing Cardiff Living’s investment in creating high-quality places across the city.
Designed to complement the existing character of the neighbourhood, Willowbrook South will provide a mix of contemporary homes set within a thoughtfully planned environment. Green spaces and public areas have been carefully integrated throughout the scheme, helping to create an attractive setting for residents and supporting a strong sense of community.
The approval builds on the success of previous phases of the wider Willowbrook development. The most recent phase, Willowbrook North, is delivering 70 new homes, including 31 affordable homes and 39 homes for open market sale, with a mix of apartments and family houses. The development also includes EPC A-rated affordable homes designed to be Net Zero Carbon Ready.
As part of the wider Cardiff Living programme, Willowbrook South will continue the transformation of underused sites into well-designed communities that help address housing need while creating places where people can thrive. Cardiff Living has already delivered significant new homes across the city through its long-term partnership approach.
